The non-immigrant visa is a single-entry visa and is valid for 90 days. Similar to a tourist visa, you can extend your stay under the non-immigrant visa by doing a visa run. You’ll have to leave the Kingdom of Thailand and go to a nearby country, such as Singapore or Malaysia, for the visa extension. You can also open a bank account and obtain a work permit under the Thai non-immigrant visa.


One Year Multiple Entry Visa

A one-year multiple entry visa is perfect for people who wish to stay long term in Thailand or want to visit the Kingdom several times a year. The visa is issued to foreigners for a year, and they can stay for a period of 90 days per entry. The multiple entry visa can also be extended to 3 months before the visa expiration date. However, this visa requires the holder to leave the Kingdom and re-enter every 90 days to avoid exceeding the limit of their per-entry stay.
